Let me do a brief introduction about my current working status.
I'm working as a contingent video production supervisor at Meta (Facebook).
Initially, I created this site to serve as my online portfolio. Since I found my current job, I haven't updated it. However, starting from mid-Nov 2022, 11000 metamates got layoff, and I began to feel the need to update my site again.
I don't have much work from Meta that I could share because those did not produced for the public. And yet, lucky enough, there's one, the most influential in my lifetime, the video of President Tsai Ing-wen's first-time experience in the metaverse.
A lot of you may have heard about the word metaverse. Do you get the chance to experience and understand what metaverse is? I'm lucky to get explored, been trained, and worked in that virtual space a little bit.
Let's take President Tsai Ing-wen's video as a sample. I was involved in the pre-production, production, and post-production of that video recording. I participated in the consultation, setting up the virtual prompter service, the bridge between the local vendor and the XR in-house team, to ensure we captured the best shots and was responsible for the editing after the recording.
I'm not sure how much longer I could be part of Meta, but I'm sure that was the most highlighting experience. I feel like I have stepped into a storm. The storm that evolves the world!
